British actor sir Ian McKellen he was taken to hospital after falling off the stage during a performance in London.
McKellen, 85, was taking part in a fight scene when he tripped and fell from the front of the stage, reports The Guardian. BBC:. The actor was screaming in pain, and the theater employees rushed to help him. A spokesman for the theater later said McKellen was in good spirits after the accident and is expected to make a full recovery.
