For the first time in the capital of Khakassia, the session of the investment board of the Abakan administration lasted for two days. The Investment Council received 27 requests for community support from representatives of small and medium-sized businesses and the self-employed, and most of the requests were received by the municipality for financial compensation subsidies for part of the costs of purchasing equipment. This type of support has not been provided in Abakan for more than ten years, and this year it was decided to direct most of the funds allocated for support in this direction.
Interest in opportunities to receive municipal support is an indicator. the majority of applicants participated in the “Made in Abakan” project prior to selection. During the program, entrepreneurs could personally discuss the directions and conditions of support, as well as make sure that the city authorities are very attentive to the prospects of business development in the capital of the republic. lack of equipment and personnel are the main problems of the business. Many entrepreneurs believe that sharing the financial burden with the municipality for the purchase and renewal of equipment is very important, and the support gives the entrepreneur a sense of confidence and security and stimulates further business development and new projects.
The head of Abakan, Alexey Lemin, noted.
“This time we can’t even do it in one day, there are a large number of applications, our problem this time is extremely complicated. There are not many funds, there are many interested people, all the projects are interesting, so we look carefully, evaluate, the choice depends on the evaluation. We will approve the subsidies based on the points.”
The main criteria for the evaluation of applications were also evaluated: the priority of the sector, the number of employees, the amount of taxes to be paid into the city budget, and the applicants’ presentations.
Applications were submitted for two types of subsidies: to provide subsidies from the Abakan city budget to small and medium-sized businesses and self-employed citizens for financial compensation of a part of the costs of paying rental fees under financial leasing contracts (leasing); ) and provide subsidies from the budget of the city of Abakan to small and medium-sized enterprises and self-employed citizens for financial compensation of part of the costs of purchasing equipment.
Today, the results of the consideration of applications by the Investment Council were summarized. Subsidies for financial compensation of a part of the costs of payment of lease payments under financial lease contracts will be received.
