A wonderful exhibition covering the marine world of Kefalonia

The Municipality of Argostoli, as part of the summer events of 2024, is hosting the photo exhibition “Underwater Diversity” at the Municipal Theater “O Kefalos” in Argostoli.

The exhibition is the work of artist Giorgos Stamatakis and Dr. Oceanography – Marine Biology, underwater photographer and cameraman Yannis Isaris, and uniquely highlights the fascinating underwater world of Kefalonia.

The opening of the event, which took place on Wednesday 24 July 2024, was attended by, among others, the Mayor of Argostoli Theofilos Michalatos, the Councilor for Culture Victororas Rouchotas and the Deputy Governor Eleni Papanastasatu. The exhibition was edited by Dr. Marine Biology and Independent Exhibition Curator Nina Fragkopoulou and coordinated by agronomist Maggie Papadatu.

The exhibition will be open to the public until August 6, 2024, daily from 20:00 to 23:00.
