Counting down to the premiere tonight at 2pmu: Kalamata Street Festival, which returns renewed with the aim of giving unforgettable summer evenings by the river Ari.
During the three-day festival, which runs until Sunday, July 28, participants will have the opportunity to take part in a number of activities on the river, as well as try climbing or graffiti in special areas. At the same time, in the old warehouses of ASO Pamisos, where the event will take place, there will be various visual exhibitions, a bazaar, as well as workshops for children and dance workshops.
This year, camping enthusiasts will have the opportunity to set up their tents next to Ari, while the Camping Pass will provide them with free use of the sanitary infrastructure and the on-site restaurant.
The concerts
At yesterday’s press conference regarding today’s opening, Fotini Arapi emphasized on behalf of the organizers that 14.It Kalamata Street Festival, as always, includes a program for many musical tastes.
In particular, today it includes: “THRAX PANX”, Petros Malamas, Vassilis Papaconstantinou, Pavlos Pavlidis, “Kronos Miden”. Tomorrow, Saturday, July 27, the program opens with “ANSER” and “Eversor”, continues with Giorgos and Nikos Stratakis, Ioulia Karapatakis and closes with “Acrobats”. The finale of the festival will be Yanis Charoulis, “Ethism”, Marina Spanu and the prosecutor.
Use of space
According to Fotini Arapi, there will be a special section during the festival where the participants will have the opportunity to record their ideas and suggestions on ways to use the area around the river during the next year. There will also be raffles for prizes and more.
Emergency routes
According to the organizers, for the best transportation of the interested parties to the festival site and back to Kalamata, KTEL Messinia will put: State of emergency routes (Kalamata – Aris: 1+.00, 19.30, 20.30 & Aris – Kalamata: 00.30, 01.00, 02.00). They don’t regularly routes are valid as is.
Ticket sales
As it became known, pre-sale of tickets continues in a mixed way. Online via more.com and at physical outlets at Kontargyri Bookstore and Marina Garden Cafe. Tickets will also be available at the entrance.
Participations
It should be noted that this year’s festival includes, among others, Voulis the Clown, Elpida Arios Sports-Gymnastics-Educational Association, Culti Multi KOINSEP and the Greek Rescue Team.
