Maniatakeio Foundation. Opening of solo exhibition of Austrian artist VOKA

The opening event of the solo exhibition of the famous Austrian artist VOKA, appearing in famous galleries, exhibitions and art auctions abroad, was held with great success last Sunday, the 7th, at the Tarsuli Hall of the Maniatakey Foundation.

His paintings combine realism with abstraction on a canvas full of colors and light. In fact, the artist chose the idyllic city of Coron as his second home. Its alleys and fishing ports are an inexhaustible source of artistic inspiration for him, which lead him more and more to deal with Mediterranean themes. Ships, sailors, Greek paths, daily life and rural Greeks star in his works in an explosive mix of power and expressiveness.

The president of the foundation, Dimitris Maniatakis, in turn, introduced the artist, his works, as well as their direct connection with Koroni.

The event was graced by the presence of representatives of the authorities, the Maniatakeios Foundation and friends of VOKA, while it ended with a cocktail served on the premises of the foundation.

It should be noted that the exhibition will last until July 17.
