The program entitled “Acquaintance with the ancient theaters of Greece” was implemented this summer by the Ministry of Culture in cooperation with the National Theater and the “Diazoma” association.
It is the presentation of the show “The Wealth” in the little-known and recently restored ancient theaters, with the aim of promoting and promoting them to Greek and international audiences.
In Messinia, the presentation of the show was confirmed in the Old Church-Conservatory of Old Messinia, with a maximum allowed audience of six hundred.
The exact dates of the performances will be determined after consultation with the local competent Ephorates and should not coincide with the events of the “All Greece, One Culture” and “August Full Moon” institutions organized by the Ministry of Culture and 2024. .
Also, in the Ministry’s decision, it is specified that the time of the performance should be properly adjusted so that it ends shortly before sunset, so that the audience leaves with natural light.
In the context of a specific project, exhibitions will be provided free of charge, paying only at the archaeological site or monument where it is intended, during or outside their opening hours.
